Background

The Campus Advisory Committee on the Status of Womxn (CACSW) at UC Santa Cruz was formed in Spring 2021 as an outgrowth of research, planning, and advocacy conducted by campus leaders who had attended and graduated from the Systemwide UC Women’s Initiative for Professional Development. The committee is comprised of staff, faculty, postdocs, researchers, and students from across campus. The committee co-chairs represent our campus at the Systemwide Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (SACSW). The CACSW is open to all UCSC students, staff and faculty that have an interest in working collaboratively on the CACSW charge, consistent with state and federal law, and the UC Nondiscrimination Statement.
