Vice Chancellor for Information Technology

The Office of the Chancellor has begun the first phase of recruiting for a Vice Chancellor for Information Technology. Stakeholder meetings with faculty, staff and students will take place in October. The executive search firm Opus Partners is assisting with the search.

To be considered, a brief introduction letter and a Contributions to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion statement must accompany each CV. The search will officially open to candidates on November 1, 2021, at which time more information about the position and how to apply will be added to this website. 

We welcome nominations of qualified candidates.  We encourage you to speak with your colleagues to help us develop a strong candidate pool. Applications will be accepted through December 31, 2021, or until the position is filled.

Recruitment Schedule

  • Stakeholder Meetings – October 2021
  • Kickoff Search Advisory Committee Meeting – October 2021
  • Initial Application Review Date –  December 31, 2021
  • First Interviews – Early January 2022
  • Final Interviews – Late January and early February 2022

Final Interview Stage

During final interviews, candidates will be on campus for meetings with campus constituents. Each finalist will give a town hall talk during their visit as well as participate in open forums. Names of finalists will be released a few days before their in-person interviews begin. All talk and forum participants will be invited to give feedback about the candidates.
